THE KIND DONE AT FAIRS & CIRCUSES.
SILHOUETTES NOW A BIG COLLECTABLE

PROBABLY AT 1330 SOUTH INDIANA AVE, MOTORCYCLE PATROL HDQTRS.
WHERE NEW BIKES WERE PREPARED, AND OLD BIKES REPAIRED.

I CAN ONLY REMEMBER ONE TIME WHEN DAD SPOKE
ABOUT FIRING HIS IVORY-HANDLED 38 POLICE SPECIAL,
CHASING A STOLEN CAR AND FIRING SEVERAL SHOTS.
THE CAR GOT AWAY BUT WAS FOUND A FEW DAYS LATER -
IN THE TRUNK WERE SEVERAL BULLET HOLES.
NOT BAD SHOOTING FROM A BOUNCING MOTORCYCLE.

1971 RE-UNION  "SOLO RIDERS" THIS WAS THE FIRST RE-UNION OF SOLD RIDERS (TWO-WHEEL MOTORCYCLE) ANOTHER WAS HELD IN 1977,  AND A THIRD IN THE EARLY 1980'S I SUSPECT THAT WAS THE LAST.
AS OF THIS WRITING, SEPT 2003, THERE ARE ONLY TWO KNOWN "SOLOS" LEFT, BILL BARAN AND ANOTHER WHOSE NAME I WILL GET SOON.
